Interruption(noun) - the act of interrupting, or breaking in
upon
There is nothing more frustrating than being in a
conversation with one person and another person comes in and tries to either
take over the conversation or shift the conversation to something else. I’m
sure this has happened to everyone at some point, but it really ticks me off.
There is no problem if someone comes in during a conversation, but they should
have enough grace to not interrupt what’s being said and wait until there seems
to be a break or the conversation has ended and then go on and say what they
want to say. It’s only common courtesy to do this.

That's one of my pet peeves too. Hate it - so rude.
Oh I have some near and dears who do this, and I am not even talking about my two teenagers!
