I’m not a lumber jack or a fur trader,
And
I don’t live in an igloo...
I don't eat blubber or own a dog sled, and I don’t know Jimmy, Sally or Suzie from Canada
Although
I am sure they are really nice.
I
have a Prime Minister, not a President
I
speak English and French… NOT American
I
pronounce it ABOUT…not ABOOT
I
can proudly sew my countries flag on my backpack, I believe in peacekeeping NOT
policing
Diversity
NOT assimilation…..and the beaver is a truly proud and noble animal
A
toque is a hat…
a chesterfield is a couch
And
it’s pronounce ZED…not ZEE…..ZED!
Canada
is the second largest landmass
And
the 1st Nation in hockey
And
the BEST part of North America
My
Name is DM
I am Canadian!! J

I loooove Canada. My Canadian friends have bestowed on me Honourary Canadian status, which I proudly declare!! My car is so easy to find in parking lots b/c it's the only one w/ a Canadian flag on the bumper (says Victoria).
Me too EH! Cheers :)
I am Canadian! lovely little blog but love the title
It's always nice to see someone who's proud of who they are! Good luck with the rest of the alphabet!

Tell us how you really feel! ;) I love Canada, but Idaho is the best part of North America. Just sayin' ...
:)
I'm a new follower from the A to Z Challenge. Nice to meet you!
Ah...Canada. America's hat. :-)
But we love you, anyway. Nice post--had me chuckling all the way through. And a good pick for A to Z. I'm looking forward to seeing what's next.
I was hoping to see poutine mentioned! I would venture into Canada more often if customs didn't frighten me (for no good reason, by the way!)
This was a very clever tribute to the Great White North! I live just 15 miles from the border (US side) so I got a real kick out of this!
Enjoyed your post. I grew up across the river and over the Ambassador Bridge or through the tunnel from Windsor. Since becoming an adult, I've traveled in some beautiful parts of Canada and have made a number of lovely friends from there. Thank you.
